Parking is free at approximately 50 meters walking distance.
On the other side of the house is the center of the town. There is a supermarket, post office, bank etc. within walking distance.
Layout of the house:
Entrance / front door through the terrace of the neighbors (right of way).
Ground floor: kitchen living with TV, bathroom with shower and toilet.
1st floor: living room with PC, TV, DVD and CD player, wood stove and sofa bed.
2nd floor: bedroom with TV and sink. Wifi available.
The house measures 16 m2 per floor.

Revin is a place in the north of France on the Maas and is located in the French Ardennes. Revin is lying on the loops that the Maas makes there. At the first bend from the south, the Maas comes back almost at the same place.
Revin is located in the center of Europe. A circle of 350 km radius, with Revin in the middle, covers the most important cities of Northern Europe: close by: Reims, Brussels, Luxembourg, Lille, Liège. Then Paris, Nancy, Aix-la-Chapelle, Antwerp. Finally, Strasbourg and Amsterdam, and furthermore London and Frankfurt.
Revin has its own train station: from and to Paris and connection to the Belgian network. And Vireux-Molhain Givet, Ardennes offers a central position on the Calais-Basel line, between the coal basins of the North and the iron mines of Lorraine.
Along Revin a long, almost traffic-free, cycle route runs along the Maas called “Voie Verte”. In the Netherlands, the route was named “cycle route of the year 2008”. On the other bank there is a railway line with a lot of stations that make it possible to return to the starting point. The bicycle can be taken on the train for free.
At 6 km lies a large lake “Les veille Forge”, with sandy beach around it , free access, free P, free surveillance / surveillance in July and August. In Rocroi is an indoor swimming pool.
Nearest airport: Charleroi. There is a bus connection with Charleville-Mezieres.
In the cycling world, Revin is known for the Mont Malgre Tout, with its 7 hairpin bends.

Gezellig huisje met mooi zicht op de Maas
We hebben met ons 2, moeder en zoon, enorm genoten met onze honden, van het knusse huisje en prachtig zicht op de Maas.
Alles aanwezig.
Mooie omgeving.
Uitstekend
Wij zijn er voor de tweede keer geweest omdat alles ons de eerste keer goed bevallen was. Nu dus ook weer heerlijk gezellig huisje met alles aanwezig wat je nodig hebt. Wij hebben weer een heerlijke vakantie gehad en het contact met de eigenaars is zeker ook goed en zeer vriendelijk. Wij zeggen dat deze locatie en huisje een aanrader is.
Een heel leuk knus onderkomen in een hele leuke omgeving.
We hebben van 5 tot 12 maart 2023 een heerlijke vakantieweek gehad in dit knusse en gezelliger onderkomen in Revin. Het is ons prima bevallen. Een mooi aan de Maas gelegen woning, die van alle gemakken is voorzien. Veel wandelingen in de omgeving gemaakt. Supermarkten dichtbij. Lekker in het zonnetje gezeten en genoten van het uitzicht op de Maas. Zeker voor herhaling vatbaar en voor eenieder aan te bevelen.
Warm aanbevolen!
Wij hebben met ons drietjes (echtpaar (65/61) met onze dochter van 19) een leuke herfstvakantie gehad in dit schattige huisje met een prachtig uitzicht op de Maas, en alle charmes van een 400-jaar oud huis in combinatie met alle moderne luxe voorzieningen (goede wifi, 3 tv’s (!), etc.). Revin is een leuk klein Ardennen dorpje met allerlei opties voor dagtochtjes, alle belangrijke winkels op loopafstand, gratis parkeermogelijkheden, en dat op slechts een goede 3 uur rijden van de Nederlandse grens. Verder is de prijs/kwaliteitsverhouding zonder meer goed te noemen en was de begeleiding (per mail en WA) door de eigenaar uitstekend. Kortom: doen!
Geweldig plekje
Voor de tweede keer de herfstvakantie doorgebracht in dit huis aan de Maas. Een prachtige plek. Niet groot, maar van alle gemakken voorzien. Uitstekende prijs-kwaliteit verhouding.
Revin is een historisch stadje. Wij proeven bijna letterlijk de geschiedenis. Het oude centrum kan hier en daar wel wat renovatie gebruiken.
Mooie uitvalsbasis voor wandel- en fietstochten door de prachtige Ardennen. Uitstapjes naar Charleville-Mézières, Reims (!) en Dinant zijn goed bereisbaar.
In Revin supermarkten, cafés, restaurants en meer aanwezig.
